Racial Injustice

Pastor Rick Amendola Church email/FB post May 29, 2020

SO MUCH going on in the USA. I, like many, are disgusted and saddened by the recent events in Minneapolis, NYC, Louisville and Glynn County Georgia. These events add to the growing list of unfair and racially charged happenings across our land. THIS HAS TO STOP. This is especially important to the Christian community in America. People of faith must stand up and be counted and heard. As a Christian, as a church goer, as a Pastor, I go on record as condemning these acts of violence, hatred, prejudices, and unfairness. I pledge to do my part within the sphere of my influence to enlighten, challenge, and correct anyone I interact with. I beseech all to “see” the pain of others, “hear” the sounds of hatred and prejudice, and “touch” the hearts of humanity. This is our mission, this is our mandate, this is our challenge. “YOU are the salt of the earth...YOU are the light of the world” Matthew 5:13-14

Hi New Life!

Greetings in the wonderful, powerful, matchless Name of Jesus, our Lord! Trusting you are having a great week. Hope that Sunday was a good day for you, and especially was a special day for all of our moms. The Lord certainly has a special place in His heart for moms, and loves and appreciates each one so much!

I want to thank James Carter for his diligence in producing the Live-streams each Sunday morning and evening. And, a special thank you to Pastor Bill for his ministry each Sunday morning and evening as well. And, a special thank you to Stacie Amendola-Johnson for leading us in worship Sunday morning. And, thank you Pamela Amendola for her faithfulness in all of the administrative work that goes on behind the scenes each week. Each one plays such an important part in organizing, presenting, leading, and encouraging the Body of Christ here at New Life week after week. You are all to be commended!

With that being said, I can not stress enough how important it is for you...the New Life Body of Christ...to tune in each week on our Facebook Live-stream. Our Sunday morning services are designed to give each of you a platform where you can worship, pray, hear special announcements about what is going on locally, and then of course have an opportunity to hear the preaching of the Word of God. We are so thankful and encouraged by the numbers of people tuning in from all over the country! I personally have family and friends from several distant states that log on each week. I am very grateful for that.

However, sometimes I wonder how many of our own people are in the routine of making the Sunday morning Live-steam Service a priority. I realize some my watch the service later in the day, or even during the following week on our Youtube page. We are so thankful for that as well. But, I want everyone to know my heart here...Sunday Mornings are important!!  Out of the two hundred or so adherents to the church, I would love to see at least one hundred signing in each Sunday morning. For each person logging in there are probably a few people at home that will join the service as well. This includes spouses, teens, younger children, or relatives. We do see the numbers of “views” and “engagements” which Facebook provides after each service. I am praying for those numbers to increase as the weeks tick away. Remember, the services are designed to be a blessing for you..the New Life Body of Christ.

Additionally, the Tuesday Talk and Thursday Talk Live-streams at noon are going quite well. At the suggestion of a Board member we have included one or more of my grandchildren into the presentation. If I may say so, those Pips are quite engaging! TY Stacie for allowing them to minister in this special way. Wednesday Night In The Word is going well too. We are diligently working our way through the Book of Romans. This week we will be in chapter eight. Please join us!!

Contact us if you are in need of food, transportation, or counsel during this time. Also, if you are having trouble logging on to the Live-streams, please let us know. We may be able to assist in some ways. Keep checking your emails for further information from us regarding re-grouping at the church. Keep checking the church Facebook page as well for announcements.

We love you! We are praying for you!  We can’t wait to get back together at church! Until then..stay extra close to Jesus and to the Body of Christ.

All For Jesus!

Stan Krzys

Announcement:

Our dear brother in Christ, Stan Krzys went home to be with the Lord this morning, having succumbed to the Coronavirus disease. Please keep Gloria in your prayers as she is fighting the disease as well. Gloria is on a two week quarantine and is not taking calls at this time.

Stan was a pillar in our church. A faithful man of God for many, many years. He always had a smile on his face and a prayer on his lips. Faithful in serving on our Prayer Team, Kids Ministries, Communion Team and other areas as needed. He was always supportive and prayerful toward the ministry of New Life. Stan personally spoke life over me and Pamela many times. He leaves a legacy of great faith in Jesus and great hope for the Body of Christ.

Funeral arrangements will be made in the future as soon as possible. Please keep the family and many friends of the Krzys’ in your prayers during this difficult time.

Good Friday and more

April 8, 2020 New Life email

Hi New Life!

Ok...special Good Friday Gift Bags are to be picked up at the church on Thursday between 1 and 4pm, or on Friday between 9 and 3pm. The Gift Bags contain a candle and two communion set-ups to be used during our Good Friday Livestream Service at 7pm. Bags will be in the foyer of the side door facing the parking lot, one bag per family. We will light the candle as the Service begins on Friday. Communion will be shared at the close of the service. There are some other special items in the Bag as well. This service promises to be very special as we honor the great sacrifice of our Lord.

Resurrection Day Livestream Service will be this Sunday at 10:45. Please invite your family and friends to  tune in. We are trusting the Lord to move very powerfully during this time. We will meet again on Sunday evening at 6 for our Livestream time of prayer. Please join us!

Tonight at the Wednesday Night In The Word Livestream, two important truths came to light. We will share them now with the appropriate Scriptures for you to study. Here we go:

Romans 5:9-11 is the starting point. First we learned that we “shall be saved”, which raises the notion that (a)"we are saved" 2 Tim 1:9, Titus 3:4-5; (b)"we are being saved" 1 Corinthians 1:18, 2 Corinthians 2:15, Philippians 2:12; and (c)“we shall be saved” Romans 5:9-10, 1 Thessalonians 1:10. This raises the second point that being "saved from wrath" guarantees there will be the wrath of God upon the earth and that we Christians will not be here to endure it, praise the Lord! 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 describes the Rapture of the saints both dead and alive. 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 describes the difference between the saved and the unsaved and how the saved are called to be “light” and to be “alert” as we await Jesus’ return. The Rapture begins the Second Coming of Jesus, at which time the dead in Christ and the living in Christ will be “caught up” to be with the Lord forever. The dead in Christ will be reunited in resurrected bodies with their spirit which was already with the Lord. The living in Christ will be taken up, body and spirit at the same time. After this, and after the 7 Year Tribulation, and after the 1000 year reign, the Second Coming concludes with Jesus returning to earth with His “army” which is all of us! He and we will be riding on white horses to settle the Battle of Armaggedon, Revelation 19:11. Hallelujah!

Another scripture passage we mentioned tonight and have been pondering during the Coronavirus Pandemic is found in 2 Chronicles 7:12-4, and 17-20. See if you can see the several “if/then” scenarios the Lord presents in this passage. Basically it was the Lord that sent the famine, the locusts and the pestilence upon the land which He promised to heal, if the people repented and prayed. If they did not, there was going to be another whole set of issues and problems on hand. As this pertains to us right now, it would be wise for us to (1) repent of our own sins and (2) pray that the Lord would forgive us our sins and heal our land. Healing the land goes beyond physically or medically. Included would be morally, socially, politically, and spiritually. If we do not the consequences will be forthcoming soon: the lifting of God’s blessing upon us and the loss of our effectiveness in our community as the Body of Christ.

Thank you for tuning in to our Livestream services. Until we can meet again in person this seems to be the way to go. Even after we resume, we believe Livestream will have a more prominent place in the on-going ministries of New Life.

Remember you are loved and prayed for by the New Life staff! Also remember the Lord loves you (agape!) so very much!! Stay extra close to Him during these difficult days. Let us know if we can be of help.

All For Jesus!

Pastor Rick and Pamela

PS. Hams and groceries will be coming soon. Let us know if you are in need of help.

"and (if) My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves,

and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven,

and forgive their sin and heal their land”

Greetings  New Life!

Who ever would have thought we would be in the predicament we are in? Only Jesus! He knew, and He knows what is going on. It would truly be in our best interest to stay extra close to Him during this unprecedented time. How are you New Life? Were you able to catch the services on Live Stream on Sunday?

We'd like to take a moment to thank so many of our members and adherents that are staying in touch with us. The Live Stream seems to be working pretty well, although I personally am still getting used to it. It's little odd preaching to an empty church! So many pastors are feeling the same way. We know however that the Lord is using this venue to reach out, get connected, and touch souls with His Word. For all the times we were critical of the whole online/social media craze, we can see now that the Lord is certainly using it for His purposes. I believe the Lord has got this whole thing in His hands and He is working good out of it.

A pastor friend recently posted how the Coronavirus Pandemic has literally torn down America's and the world's penchant to idolize and worship celebrities, sports stars, the entertainment industry, and all pleasure seeking activities. Not that all of that is bad on every level, but when you think about it, so much money, time, energy, creativity has been spent on these activities at the expense of not applying that money, time, energy and creativity to the Lord and His Church and Mission. It is staggering but we can see before our eyes that He is tearing down the idols of our present day culture.

Thank you to those that have been giving your tithes and offerings online via our website, sending them through snail mail, or dropping them off here at the office. Thank you for all that are praying, not only for New Life but for this entire situation. Both the Church and the world need our prayers now more than ever. Our missionaries need our prayers, and our local ministries here in Haverhill that are still operating serving the poor, the homeless and the needy need our prayers. The elderly and the infirmed need our prayers. Our neighbors and loved ones need our prayers. And we need to make sure we pray for one another. As Paul said in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 "pray without ceasing", this is certainly the time to be consistently praying and staying in the attitude and position of prayer each and every day. This will keep us close to the Lord and in tune to what He is expecting from His church during this time.

Our next Live Stream will be Wednesday, March 25 at 7pm. We are planning to study Romans 4 as we continue through this book. Last Wednesday so many people tuned in, I mean all the way from Florida, New York, Virginia, Washing State, and Massachusetts and New Hampshire. It was quite incredible!

Please feel free to reach us via Face Book, email, website, or office phone. Here's the contact information: Face Book: New Life Haverhill; email: nlc.news@yahoo.com; http://www.newlifechristianag.com; office phone: 978-373-1379. Church address is 966 Main St, Haverhill, Ma 01830.

I leave you today with this special blessing from the Word of God: "The Lord bless you, and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance on you, and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26 (NASB)

See you on Live Stream!

Pasto Rick and Pamela

"But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble."

Please tune in tonight on Facebook: New Life Haverhill for our Wednesday Night in the Word at 7pm! Spread the word and help others find their way to our page. Please be reminded that in light of the Coronavirus all of the New Life Services are postponed at the church for at least the next two weeks. We will have a strong social media presence however. Monday March 16, 2020
Dear New Life!
Greetings! Below please find Gov Baker's address last night regarding banning gatherings of groups of people until April 7. We along with all churches in Massachusetts are seeking the Lord as to how we will handle this situation. Stay tuned to our emails, the New Life Haverhill Facebook page, and the New Life church website (www.newifechristianag.com) for frequent updates. Our board will be meeting on Tuesday, March 17 to discuss our options for having, and live-streaming, services.
Please pray that the Lord will use this situation to bring His people together and to bring the lost to salvation. Pray that this will be the churches finest hour as we seek the Lord and seek ways to be a blessing to our community. Feel free to communicate with us during this time via the means mentioned above.
In light of Gov Baker's order we will be canceling all services this week. This includes Monday Prayer; Wednesday Night Service and Youth Group; Thursday Morning Prayer and Inner Healing Class; and Sunday Morning and Evening Services. We will address this on a week to week basis depending on the daily and weekly updates from our local and national medical and political leaders. We are also considering information received from the National and District Offices of the Assemblies of God regarding the legal aspects of what we are allowed to do.
Stay tuned regarding a live stream or prerecorded teaching for this Wednesday Night and Sunday Morning. Also stay tuned regarding all other activities of New Life Christian assembly of God.
Stay well, be wise, and be a good witness for the Lord and His church. Keep praying!

All For Jesus,
Pastor Rick and Pamela

PS. As of today, Sunday's livestream of the 10:45 service had 462 views, for which we are very grateful.

PSS. On a practical note, tithes and offerings can be submitted online via church website. If information is needed please let us know. TY!

Coronavirus Update

Greetings once again!

Since our last correspondence regarding the Coronavirus situation our President has declared this to be a National Emergency. Here in Massachusetts our Governor has declared the Commonwealth in a state of emergency. In light of this we have found some Assemblies of God churches in our area cancelling tomorrow's services and opting for a live stream service to be viewed over Facebook. Most of our churches also video their services which are viewed later, after editing. See below for New Life live stream procedures.

We will keep our doors open tomorrow as planned but with some substantial modifications. Please read the following information carefully:

~ Anyone that has been exposed to the virus should stay at home.

~ Anyone that is elderly and/or has health issues should consider staying at home.

~ The Haverhill Public Schools have cancelled classes for the next two weeks. Parents should use their judgement regarding their children gathering with other children here at the church. Again, preexisting health issues and overall health concerns will be a factor.

~ Greeting one another should be by "elbow bumps" and a smile. This is important for everyone, especially for the healthy and strong to be considerate of others who are not.

~ Please avail yourselves to the hand sanitizers located in the church.

~ Prayer Time at the altar will be as follows: those in need of prayer will come and stand or kneel at the altar and the prayer team will stand behind them offering prayer and laying on of hands on the shoulder.

~ Coffee Room will be closed.

~ Pizza With The Pastor will be cancelled tomorrow.

~ Next weeks SALT Dinner & Fellowship will be canceled.

~ Youth Group will meet as planned on Sunday at 6pm.

May we all endeavor to stay in prayer mode during this time. This is the first time the Body of Christ at large has faced such a health situation and we are trying diligently and prayerfully to do all we can do to help those that are affected and be a light and source of strength to one another and to our community. Please feel free to contact us or any one of our leaders should you have other concerns not addressed in this letter.

Pray for healing! "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

Trusting In The Lord,

Pastor Rick and Pamela

PS: LIVE STREAM...at 10:45AM sign in to Facebook and go to our church page New Life Haverhill. It should be there!

Coronavirus

(From New Life email, 3/12/20)

Dear New Life,

Greetings in Jesus' Name! Many have been wondering what we as a church are doing now that the "pandemic" Coronavirus has hit the US. Please allow me a few moments to share a some thoughts of this subject.

We will be taking some precautions but will not be closing our church doors. We have and will continue to air out our facility and use disinfectants more frequently throughout our building. We will continue to encourage our members and adherents to greet one another with respect and dignity, being especially conscience of those that are prone to illness and/or fighting chronic health issues. A big smile and a wave are encouraged, while hugs and handshakes are suggested to subside during this time. Elbow bumps are welcomed! If someone has been advised by their physician to stay away from crowds, we readily understand should you decide to stay at home. In that case, please view our recorded services online via Facebook, or on our church website: http://www.newlifechristianag.com/media. We are also working on a live-stream feed that could be viewed from home as the Sunday morning services happen.

The following general guidelines regarding Coronavirus have been issued by the United States Center For Disease Control (CDC). You may have seen them presented on local public media. They include:

- Cleansing your hands throughly and often

- Avoid touching your face, nose, or eyes unless you wash your hands

- Stay home if you are sick

- Wear a face-mask if you are sick
- Clean and disinfect surfaces that are touched frequently- Avoid close contact with others- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

Let's try our best to abide by these important and common sense guidelines. Also, the elderly with preexisting health issues are the most at risk population regarding this virus. To those in this group we offer our prayers, considerations, and physical help should it be needed. Please let us know if we can assist in any way.The Word makes it clear that (1) we must be vessels the Lord would use to usher in His presence and His healing to those that are suffering (Matthew 25:34-40); and (2) that we are to be "wise as serpents, innocent as doves" (Matthew 10:16) meaning we must use great wisdom and spiritual guidance as we proceed. In the case of the Coronavirus, we must do both, help others as we walk in the Light and Wisdom of Christ.

As more information becomes available we will update our concerns and procedures. Feel free to contact us should you need more information at this time. If you miss any services, and are concerned about presenting your tithes and offerings to the Lord, you can (1) send them via mail to: New Life Christian AG, 966 Main St, Haverhill, MA 01830; (2)submit them via church website, click "give"; (3) save them at home and bring in when you can.Be well! Keep praying! Be wise! And, be Christlike! Looking forward to seeing you this Sunday as we continue in the present series, "Pursue Love" taken from 1 Corinthians 13:1-14:1. This Sunday we plan to continue the section "Agape In Action".  Please keep our services in prayer.

All For Jesus!

Sisterhood Devo!

Sisterhood Devotional

"This is how we have discovered love’s reality: Jesus sacrificed his life for us. Because of this great love, we should be willing to lay down our lives for one another. If anyone sees a fellow believer in need and has the means to help him, yet shows no pity and closes his heart against him, how is it even possible that God’s love lives in him?"

1 John 3:16-17 The Passion Translation

February is when we celebrate Valentine’s Day. The world recognizes this day as a time to express love through the exchange of gifts, going out on dates, love notes and greeting cards, and through other modes of affection. This is all nice and it is well meaning, though it doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of the agape love of God towards us, nor does it compare to the way the Lord describes we should love one another. Agape love is the highest form of love. It is self-sacrificial and humbly inconvenient, best illustrated by Jesus and his death on the cross, so that we may have abundant life two-fold, here on earth, and for eternity in heaven.

God is the very definition of love, and love is chock full of action, despite feelings. When 1 Corinthians 13 goes through what love IS (patient, kind, it does not keep record of wrongs, it protects, always trusts, hopes, and perseveres) and what love IS NOT (it does not boast, it is not rude, not self-seeking, or easily angered, nor does it delight in evil), it isn’t meant to be an idealistic bible scripture to be recited at wedding ceremonies. It is to be our very way of life, demonstrated to the people we love, the people who drive us crazy, those we may not like so much or barely tolerate, and we are even called to love those who hate us. Love is the foundation for how we conduct ourselves and love is the essence by which we live out our Christianity. This is not to say that we let others mistreat us or abuse us. Part of love, I believe, is having the proper boundaries in place, growing in who we are as we mature in Christ and his likeness. The point is, we should always take inventory on whether Christ is reflected in and through us. Are we motivated by love? If we do not love those around us, then we cannot say that we love God whom we have not seen (1 John 4:20). Let us be led by God’s love for us!

Lord, forgive us for not always loving others, please help us to live and love out loud, just like you. We surrender our selfishness, and ask that you lead us in a deeper agape love walk, so all may see Christ reflected in and through us. We trust that it is done, and we thank you for answering our prayer. In Jesus name, the name above all names we pray, Amen!

21 Day Fast

Greetings New Life!

By all accounts, many of us are excited about the upcoming 21 Day Fast. The Fast will begin this Sunday, February 9 and continue through Saturday, February 29. We are not requesting anyone to Fast for the entire 21 days, unless you are cleared physically and heard from the Lord to do so. We are, however, requesting that everyone in our fellowship partake in this Fast in some way over the 21 days.

Remember, a biblical fast means we don't eat food, and utilize that time and other times throughout that day to pray and diligently seek the Lord. The Fast could mean not eating for a day, or for a few days. It could also mean eating regularly, but abstaining from eating desserts, or a favorite food. It could also mean not eating, for example each Tuesday for a few weeks, or giving up desserts for the 21 Days. There are many different and acceptable ways to fast. The point is...God is calling us to FAST!

This Sunday, we plan to address different ways we can accomplish our goal. Please be in prayer this week as to what you can do. Medical concerns as well as personal workload and stresses may need to be considered. But we believe that whatever we do, the Lord will honor our efforts. Amen.

Please read over Isaiah 58:1-12 this week. Lord willing, we will be focusing on this passage as we prepare for our Fast. This we know for sure, "God is a rewarder of  those who diligently seek Him" Hebrews 11:6. Let's put our hearts together and sincerely seek the Lord to move powerfully in our midst in 2020!

All For Jesus,

Pastor Rick and Pamela

"Is this not the fast that I have chosen:

To loose the bonds of wickedness,

To undo the heavy burdens,

To let the oppressed go free,

And that you break every yoke?"

Memorial Service

From NLC email, Jan 20, 2020

Dear New Life,

Greetings in Jesus' Name. In case you missed yesterdays announcement, our dear sister in Christ, Barbara Darling went home to be with the Lord early Sunday morning. She had been struggling for many months with several difficult health issues, including heart and lung problems. After a long battle, she is now at rest with the Lord Jesus. Please keep her husband Charles and their children and grand children in your prayers during this time of grief. Cards and notes of encouragement can be sent to Charles at the Darling home, 16 Atkinson St, Methuen, Ma 01844.

Funeral arrangements have been made for Saturday, January 25, at the Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St, Methuen, Ma (978-685-5379). Viewing hours will be from 10 -12 noon. Memorial Service will be held at noon, conducted by New Life Christian AG.

We will always be thankful for the time Barbara spent with us here at NLC. She was a devoted believer in Christ, a strong prayer warrior, and someone who depended upon the Holy Spirit for help and guidance. We will certainly miss her, and her zest for life, and her presence at many church events, but we look forward to a grand reunion one day "on the other side".

Sincerely In Jesus,

Pastor Rick and Pamela

Happy New Year!

Greetings New Life! (from church email, 1/17,20)

Trusting this fine third Friday in January (already!) finds you close to Jesus and in the best of moods as we continue in our service to the King of Kings in this New Year of 2020! In case you missed it, the scripture for the church that was chosen at our annual New Year's Eve Service is very, very appropriate for the times we are living in. Psalm 20:5 states: "May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God..." Yes, we can and we do..."shout for joy at the Victory we have in Jesus", and yes, we can, and we will, "raise our banners in the Name of our God."

Taken in context this verse gets even better. Psalm 20:1-5 states: "May the Lord answer you when you are in distress; may the Name of the God of Jacob protect you. May He send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion. May He remember all your sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings. May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the Lord grant all your requests"NIV.

As we begin this New Year, may I remind you of a few precious promises based on this scripture? Here goes:

(1) Keep crying out to the Lord in good times and bad, for He is faithful to watch over us and protect us. (2) The Lord is faithful to always send us the help we need, often from the least expected sources, but mainly from "the sanctuary" and from "Zion", meaning from His church and from His resources. (3)The Lord always remembers our prayers, supplications, fastings and sacrifices. He never forgets when we earnestly seek Him. (4) The Lord really wants to give us the desires of our hearts, provided they line up with His plans for us...and when they do, they succeed! (5) Our responsibility is to always praise Him, thank Him, honor Him, to "shout for joy" as we remember His victory, and our victory through Him; and to parade before Him with our "banners", meaning our lives, our gifts, our sacrifices, our creativity, all in the Name of our God! Then, as we live for Him, His way, we are in a great position to receive the blessings we seek through our prayers and supplications.

The Word of God is replete with scriptures regarding our victory in Christ. This is exciting!

~Deuteronomy 20:4 “…for the Lord your God is He who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.”

~I Chronicles 29:11 “Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and You are exalted as head above all.”

~Proverbs 24:6 “…for by wise guidance you can wage your war, and in abundance of counselors there is victory.”

~I Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

~I John 5:4 “For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”

Can I hear someone say, "Amen?!" Please know that you are loved by the Lord and by the church, and by your Pastor! Please know that you are being prayed for on on ongoing basis. Please know that this year, 2020, will be the best year ever as we walk and live in the Victory that is ours through Jesus Christ. Amen!

See you in "the sanctuary" this Sunday as we...continue! God bless you, and God bless your New Year!

God At Work!

Dear New Life!

Greetings in the wonderful Name of Jesus! Just a short note to remind everyone…Jesus really loves you! One way to see His love in action is to be aware of the many “preaching posts” He is opening up around our community. As you know, the “Cafe Ministry” in downtown Haverhill continues each Sunday Morning. Additionally, we welcome to the city, “Just Church” which presently meets above the A-1 Deli on Merrimack St, and “Renaissance Church”, meeting at Northpoint Bible College, a church plant of Community Christian Fellowship. These two churches join “Goshen Church”, meeting at Haverhill Methodist Church, and “Highrock Church“ that meets at First Baptist Church, as being the newest additions of churches in town. God is moving in our midst! Please keep these new “preaching posts” in your prayers as we see the Kingdom of God advance in the Haverhill area. These, in addition to several other Bible believing churches and para-church ministries, ie Leaving The Streets, Common Ground, Somebody Cares New England, Salvation Army, New Brothers Fellowship and Pregnancy Care Center, are making a real difference. God is doing a good thing here!

“God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever would believe on Him would not perish but would have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16-17

"Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?' 'Yes, Lord,' she replied, 'I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.'" John 11:25-27 NIV
